Police: 100 handguns taken from Lynnwood gun shop
LYNNWOOD, Wash. - Detectives in Lynnwood are searching the streets for any leads in a major burglary at a gun shop.
Police say someone stole at least 100 handguns from the Lynnwood Gun and Ammunition store in the north Seattle suburb. Police responded to the burglary around noon Friday.
Investigators believe the burglars may have tunneled through the store floor to gain access overnight Thursday - a surprisingly simple way around the bolted front door and past the bars in the windows.
