Three men have been arrested in north Idaho for what police say was a drug-related shooting death in Spokane, Wash.

Spokane police said Friday morning that 25-year-old Henry J. Halloway of Coeur d'Alene, 20-year-old Jalil K. Handy of Post Falls and 21-year-old Samuel Thomas of San Fransisco are in the Kootenai County jail.

They're being held for investigation of first-degree murder in the death of 43-year-old Anthony E. Dennis. He was found shot to death in the head early Wednesday in a sport utility vehicle in Spokane.

Police Lt. Dave McGovern says Dennis was shot when the trio tried to rob him of money and crack cocaine. Investigators add that the dead man's cellular telephone records helped solve the case. They're still trying to find the gun.
