"SEATTLE -- Seattle police are still looking for the person who shot a man to death next to a 76 gas station near downtown Seattle.
The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at the corner of Terry and James streets near Harborview Medical Center. A security guard working nearby heard three shots and called 911. When Seattle police arrived, they didn't see anything suspicious right away but heard an engine revving nearby.
Looking closer they found a pickup truck, inside was a man in his 50s. He had been shot in the head, his foot still on the accelerator pedal and car in park.
Police say even though this happened so close to the gas station, there were no eyewitnesses...
Police say even though they haven't caught the killer yet, they are working through the investigation as quickly as possible to get the gunman off the streets. Police are gathering evidence, including what they hope is surveillance video that may have caught the gunman on camera.
The victim's name has not yet been released. If you have any information or saw anything suspicious in the area, you are urged to call Seattle police or Crimestoppers at 1-800 222-TIPS."
