A missing Federal Way man is accused of shooting two people, killing one, at a Jan. 17 Federal Way house party and faces second-degree murder and first-degree assault charges.
King County prosecutors say that Edgar Daniel Sanchez, 21, also known as "Sharkie," shot two men just before 4:30 a.m. in the 30800 block of 20th Avenue South. An argument broke out in the front yard of a house where a party had been held, and it escalated into gunfire, police said.
Investigators found David Martinez, 29, lying on the kitchen floor with a gunshot wound to his side and head injuries. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he underwent surgery.
Martinez's brother, Irving Omar Plascencia, 17, was found in the laundry room with gunshot wounds to the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sanchez is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 260 pounds, with tattoos on his shoulder and forearm. Friends and family members suspect he might have fled to Chicago or Mexico, according to the police report.
Anyone with information about Sanchez's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Federal Way Police investigators at  253-835-6894.
