Advocacy
Washington CeaseFire supports common-sense solutions to firearm violence. There are many policy alternatatives that can help to reduce firearm violence without impacting the law-abiding firearm owner's ability to possess firearms.
In the 2008 Legislative season Washington CeaseFire will advocate for legislation that would ensure mental health records from Washington State are included in the federal background check database (NICS).
