Events -- Here's What's On the Calendar Now
- Saturday, April 25th, 2009, 9AM, Seward Park, Seattle, WA -- the Seventh Annual Tom Wales Memorial 5K --a fantastic event for families.
- Thursday, May 14th, 2009, 11:30AM -- 1:00PM, Washington Athletic Club -- the CeaseFire Annual Awards Luncheon. This year Washington CeaseFire passed the first piece of gun violence prevention legislation in 27 years. Please join us as we celebrate this victory for safer communities. We will honor Representative Ross Hunter (D-48) and long-time violence prevention advocate Pamela Eakes for their leadership and commitment to the cause and hear from Columbine Graduate and author Heidi Yewman, who recently published the book, Beyond the Bullet. Register online by making a donation of $50 per person or $500 if you'd like to sponsor a table. Hope to see you there!
